This is a psychic ability that vampires use to hide their true visage they usually use this to heighten their beauty. They can however use it to become either more beautiful or hideous.
Feel the Pulse
The ability to literally feel the life force of other beings as well as its intensity. A divining rod of sorts so they can avoid draining a donor to death or know those who are on the cusp before feeding.
Vampire’s Kiss
Much like a non-vampiric physical kiss, this is a promise. And much like normal kisses endorphins are released in the recipient save in this regard the endorphins are psychic and allow a vampire limited control over the victim. The more kisses bestowed the more thorough the vampires control over the victim. The effects of the bite can be removed by cleansing the bite with holy water. This is extremely painful.

This power allows the wielder to capture a single person's mind. As unobstructed eye contact must be made it is a fairly obvious ability if one knows what to look for. The vampire causes an opponent to be overtaken by their greatest weakness and lose control during their daytime rests. The victim will be plagued for no less than one month per rank of wielders power and ability

Character Concept/History:Born in what some call the cradle of civilization in a time of kings and queens, her small tribe lived well enough and during one rainy season the young girl barely past seven was lost when the dugout they were crossing in was tipped by a hippo. some act of the gods saved her life keeping her from the beast of the river and land as she stumbled along looking for her parents. A group of soldiers from another land far from her own found her and thought her the perfect gift for their now young princess. Food was too good to turn down and she went with them unrealizing what life would hold for her.
Raised as the handmaid to the princess who would soon to be wed to the pharaoh, she learned the language of her captors but kept her own. Occasionally beat for the streaks of willfulness shown, she hoped for nothing more in life. Her life tho one as a slave was still fairly well off compared to the average slave in the street. A strange man came once to their palace a guest of the pharaoh, he was paler than goat milk and had a very strange manner but seemed taken with the young many named slavegirl. Her grace and stoicism made him wish to possess her and since the queen was all but done in need of her aid and worried her king might try and bed her handed her over as a gift.
This would have angered or hurt another but she took it in stride, the day father as he later told her that some called him was charming enough but a beast in some manner. the beings he could call to being scared her and then one evening he seemed to decide it was time. He started the turning of his gift, she died and was born again a ravenous thing. It took them some time to find her control but once gained it was never once again forgotten if she could manage. Once returning to the council they seemed pleased with his new childer and the monster of them all seemed to see something in her she liked. You didn't refuse when the mother of all darkness asked for something. Again she changed hands to begin training as one of the elite the harlequin. She was sent to police other vampires and kill when told. Gather information and disappear into the darkness.
They were the boogymen of the vampire world there name alone when spoken was supposed to bring doom upon you. After the death of the dark mother and having found her self tired of the fractured council, the now named Sabirah for patience of the gods took her leave. Training her own forces almost to the level she had been trained but not quite the remaining harlequin would have caught on. Now looking for any semblance of the dark mothers magic left over shes searched for those holding her magic and either finding them lacking and ending them or leaving them to their devices.
