Kai was exstatic he had finally gotten to know his father and his new friends. Something had nagged at him tho,every time he tried to leave they handed him more drink or food. Thrown him another feast, offered another gorgeous creature or two into his bed.
Finally after what felt like weeks to him a small vacation he had slipped away claiming time in the springs alone. They had granted him his request and he had gone to bathe but after a short moment it came to him.
Clarity, he had been in the middle of a movie shoot and was now probably fired. Sighing he didn't get upset it was hard to in the mound but his concern seemed to open a path he hasn't seen before.
Quickly he dressed taking it, his finery brocade in shades of blue and grey looking much the fae lord he was hair much longer now almost to his shoulders. He had gained power and strength here but this path lead him away and before long closed behind so he could only go forward.
After a short walk he found another open doorway this seemed as if only the surface of a bubble like skin lay between him and the other side and as he stepped through it to shut behind. Looking around he realized where he was, griffith park the mound had returned him to tbe outside world.
Checking for a phone he realized all of that had been left in his trailer so he headed for the nearest eatery to call his manager. When he looked at the date on the tv playing local news kai almost had a panic attack. It had been not weeks but months christmas new years and more missed.

Even new to his role he was wont to roam hither and yon. As such a he roamed far afield having all but ended the strife between the fae and the Kiss he found the pop of reality snapping back into place bothersome. So he investigated to find the long believed dead movie star hale and hearty. Slipping into the booth opposite the lad he smiled. "Good evenin t'ya. You seem out of sorts are ya lost lamb?"

Mildly startled his manager had said she was on her way but traffic wss still nuts. Luckily the eatery was slow at best and he looked diffrent enough to not be hounded.
He had managed to find money in his clothes magic was strange. So he had gotten a sandwich and tea to occupy him. He sniffed gently the senses he shared with water creatures mostly his name sake told him what the man who sat was easily. Not who tho," no not lost just waiting, and a bit overwhelmed."
Not sure what this vampire was up to but something about him felt..familar.

Pausinghe inhaled the mans meal squinting his eyes looking from the man to the meal and back." Well that’s good news for you I suspect. Its not everyday a resurrection happens. Wait that’s a lie because no one can truly know that."
Rubbing at the scruff on his face he decided to offer a modicum of help. Gesture of good faith to the man specifically and the Fae as a whole. “ So ye’re waitin. Fine and good but in ths traffic ye’ll be waitin a very long time no matter which way ye’re friend is comin. So why don’t I give ya a lift wher’evr ye’re goin. It’ll be faster and no waitin. Cause I suppose ye’re phones dead and ye’ve been out of touch. Not too mention TMZ or some othe will be here soon ta make yore life a bit less rustic.”

He winced at the thought of those vultures descending on him, a soft sigh" I would appreciate it, I don't know if I still have my house any more I mean it was on auto pay from my accounts so hopefully, I'm good"
He packed up his meal and "I don't even have my phone I was in costume when my cousin showed to invite me and.."
He shrugged not sure how much to share this man was getting him to say things he had no reason to share but he was offering help so Kai would take it , beggars can't be choosers.

He saw the wood burning and smiled. “Glad ta help boyo I’ll meet ya out back go on now. I’ve ta insure no one realizes we well you were here." Once he stepped out Cappie smiled devilishly and drope dhis shields catching hold to of everyones attention as he stood on the table .
“Evenin folks, ladies and gents , and children of many ages!!! This is a robbery, though not of your valuables. Merely a few moments of your time!!!”

Stepping out back a few moments later Cappie looked over the young movie star. “You hve clearly not been locked away at an Ashram or rehab so where were ya for true?”
Waiting until he began speaking Cappie leaed into the air snatching him along. The surprise solely as most men had an issue with being manhandled and would have fought. He didn’t wish to accidentally drop the male not yet at least.

Still wary but he took his things and quickly walked out. Looking around as he waited he didn't see a car so that confused him. Turning as the vampire returned and began to answer him before he was flown into the air and panicked" I was taken to ...whaoaa what the fuuuu!"
He knew better than to struggle tho, to high off the ground and unless he got dropped in the ocean hed probably be pretty hurt. he wasn't full fae so harder to kill but still could sustain damage enough to die. He closed his eyes to avoid sickness and when they got to his house he was pleased to see that it was still staffed and not foreclosed upon. Thre was probably a sizable dent in his accounts tho. He would have to book something and fast and hope the last movie didn't sue for contract breech.

Having gleaned the address frim his thoughts Cappie flew straight and true high enough that any bystander woukd think them a strange bird more than not.
As they neared the destination Cappie descended almost as quick as his liftoff. He had learned his lesson from the lion now Rex. Credit where credit was due he appreciated the man's movie which was probably the only reason he'd not razed his club or compound to the ground.
"We're here and you were saying?"

He hadn't got the vampires name and it knew his" my cousin who Id never met before was in my trailer at the movie shoot the night of the murder on the lot and coaxed me to leave with him saying he knew my father...who I've never met. i was skepticle but when he opened some sort of door into the mound."
Kai shrugged that was pretty much it. he'd been taken there and had lost time being entranced by all the things hed not gotten to be part of growing up. unlocking his door with the keypad he went in and then turned to the man. " not sure i should go letting you have free reign at coming in here, are you really wanting to continue to be friendly?"

Cappie took in the well kempt property. He was contemplating an estate sooner or later. Maybe after he killed Nicholas at the end of his term. “Probably not mate as then you might put us both at risk a crash is a crash ya know."
Cappie chuckled as he described being kidnapped to a party. He could have used friends like that when he was still living. “That is some tale thought your kind only kidnapped humans and such. Nice to know you all aren’t biased."
He smirked as the code was as plain as day to him by the sound of the keys hit. He’d done more than his fair share of entering public places with such systems. " I never want to be friendly mate. It’s a matter of simple good business. And right now with the peace in place between yours and mine it’d be bad business to treat ya like I did the escorts that’d tried robbing me of me now wouldn’t it."

He sighed and then heard him use the term your kind and started to retort but looking at the man it would go right over his head so he shook his own head and sighed" Im part human so I guess you are correct"
He blinked for a minute" wait what? robbing you?.. that's kinda crazy. Look I only just met that half of the family so I.."
He caught himself before saying he was sorry because in the mound that was a hard lesson that and thanking someone, in that world the wrong words could have you beholden to an oath or indebted." I am shocked to hear such a thing that's deplorable. Glad we can at least be amicable"
He had met some pretty powerful beings in the mound but this man gave him the willies for true and he couldn't put his finger on why. Tho he smelled kind of like the ocean so it was a hug with a slap to him.

Cappie smiled running his hand along the doorstop. He could dissuade the young fae of his notion of need to be invited. But thought better of it should the need arise he could always prove such. Now however he was being cordial.
" So about that drink…" He asked meeting the man halfway of sorts. Amicable was a good wording as that was exactly what Cappie was doing he was being amicable.

Kai deeply felt that befriending this man was dangerous but here near the ocean he had some of his magic back. His pull to the sea stronger after his moubd visit." Um sure..a drink i can see what I have..not much a drinker"
He looked behind him no one else would be there until his manager thought to check here for him. The maid came during the day twice a week as he was on his own very neat.
Then he stepped back leaving room to enter" come in if you like"
This was stupid yep incredibly but he said he didnt wish a row between him and kai's people. Him dead would do that as his father was a big deal aperantly and very old power.

Cappie straightened and smiled as the young fae made up his mind stepping back allowing entrance. Stepping cross the threshold he looked round saying, " Much appreciated lad. A bit of whistle wetter would go a very long way to insuring we’re as square as a yard arm and then some."
Gasping as he forgot an errand. He stepped back across the threshold. “Sorry there is a thing I must do and sadly not much time to insure its success. Excuse me Kai perhaps another day?”

Perplexed but marginally glad to be alone again soon as he had much to think of.
Not sure what else to say" um yeah so cool to meet you. The lift home despite the method also great of you..have a good night"
He closed the door but would wait on the other side of it to see if cappie really left.
