The air of LA clogged T'lynx'tri's lungs and yet it was fresher than the air of the battlefield. After the collapse of Chicago causing the city to be shut down, T'lynx'tri had took a assignment siding with a person whom he bare tolerated. he was as close to being a friend as being an enemy as T'lynx'tri had known. Lord Taffy was seven hundredth in line for the throne, had called out to any who would answer the call. T'lynx'tri had to go back to the far side of the veil to wield his sword in all of its magical glory as he wanted to do much like the old days. slaying foes and crushing his enemies. The only difference was the Tempus had stayed on this side of the veil to play with his broken toys. He thought about the mortals but he just was simply not as invested in the lives of the mortals as his brother. He couldn't understand why his brother grew attachments to those who would die in the span of an eye blink for an Arcadian.
Taffy had the upper hand currently, but being a blowheart, T'lynx'tri knew that Taffy could not keep the pressure on his enemies, he would prefer to humiliate him enemies instead of simply dispatching them and moving on. Taffy won't be able to hold the position that his warriors had fought so bravely for and died to attain for his glory. As T'lynx'tri had seen that Taffy hadn't changed he would bided his time until a moment presented itself for him to honorably unattach himself from lord Ego. T'lynx'tri though to return to Chicago with his brother, but LA appealed to him as; a vampire was trying to weaken the Arcadians hold on the city. It was an intresting story almost worthy of a ballet...almost. Messages from the monarchy came almost weekly to the battlefield cashing in favor offering boons almost pleading with him. Find a way to infiltrate the city and break this upstart. T'lynx'tri thought he would bring this city to its knees Of course the knights orders pulled him in the exact opposite direction as the hierarchy wanted to have T'lynx'tri restore balance and weed out the chafe. Although it would be more fun if his brother could tear himself away from the mortals of Chicago to have a little fun with the vampires. Looking at the reflection of a mirrored surface the urge rose to call out to his brother, but he knew Tempus knew he was back on this side of the veil. Now when he would make an appearance and which set of orders he would follow would be anyone's guess. Tempus would add spice to the exercise.
Perhaps T'lynx'tri could get ahead of Tempus this time and get to know the players before Tempus even dropped in. It would add a bit of excitement to the game, Picking up his bags he walked into the midday sun following the plan that he had thought up before coming to this side of the veil. Heading to the gardens to get the dossier on this Vampire Nicholas and his Kiss .
As usual the drop had happened almost like clockwork. No one had followed him to the drop pulling the thumbdrive it was attached to the doorjam of a restroom, easily retrieved and even easier viewed, using his surface he scanned the information just to make sure that everything was as the messages indicated. this was before T'lynx'tre would even accept the mission he had to be sure what he was getting into.
