She moved no further in avoiding glass and, was fuming. Cell phone that had some how managed to make it unscathed ringing persistently. She grabbed it carefully dodging debris and answered with a swiped finger. The expletive filled diatribe of her explanation left out the fact shed been busy when the shots had rang out. It was none of any of their concern whom she bedded or did not. Giving Ghost a curios look and smirking inspite of it all. She'd want to continue their dance another time after this was all settled, and settled it would be. Her pretty mouth curled in almost a feral snarl.
Hanging up she nodded to him about dressing it would be best, going to her closet and pulling on a sports bra and loose t shirt her same pants tugged over her hips and buttoned as the sounds of lots of engines headed their way met her ears. She looked at him" There is a back way out of the culvert just narrow enough for a bike if you wish to leave and not throw in with us. I wont second guess it and will just hope we run into each other again but if you stay know we are going to war and it wont be pretty..but I suspect you knew that already right?"
Smirking she closed the space between them and gave him a short but intense kiss then laughed and crunched over the destruction to go to the door and step out to meet them on the street having grabbed her own semi auto from behind the wet bar in a cabinet where it had been all along.

Ghost kissed her back though it was far too briefly. It tasted of a forgotten promise. He was not surprised that D and her club would go to war over the threat the Vagos presented. Their club was national not on the same plane as the Vagos but they were a group to be reckoned with. Even as he knew it he was torn. He’d promised himself blood for the slight as well as the interruption, yet he was not of a mind to pick up arms. He’d done so in the past but he was not that youth anymore. He was not the gangster type. He was not that sort mainly through his careful constant grip on never letting the monster out of the box.
It didn’t help that he knew the cost of the fallout when things went sideways. Sighing he watched as she grabbed her piece and gave him an out. He should really take it. He didn’t want her to get arrested let alone shipped off for what could happen. The Vagos were a one percent club. The vast majority of their club were connected with homicides or worse. Sighing he pulled his shirt on over his head finallay moving to his jacket and helmet. His jacket had a few holes. He cursed under breath. Sighing he walked out behind her. " I’m with you; I’m pretty good at batting clean-up."
Knowing he would regret the decision he kick started his ride. Easing it out greeting her crew with a nod.

She heard him and smiled impressed then greeted DK who got their first. He got off the bike and went to look at her windows and whistled, the tall bearded man shook his head and looked at her" Your one lucky seat warmer woman jeez what did you do this time?"
She eyed the president of the club and sighed motioning over her shoulder. Then mentioning how she met Ghost at the race had gone to eat got to talking bout where they hailed from when the jerks showed up and how they had gotten out. She told him they had shaken them but most people knew easy enough where to find her and while they had been listening to music and drinking her place got lit up. He eyed the man and then nodded understanding and oddly enough harboring him no ill will for the moment just figuring wrong place wrong time and getting back on his bike" put him in the center your riding up near me go get your f*****g Kutte"
She handed him her piece went to get her leather and pulled her bike out the garage yelling to the prospects to board her windows up good and keep watch. The men all eying him let him into the midst of them and the women on their own rode behind them. She took third flank behind DK and her friend Cole and then waited for the whole contingent at current of about twenty to ride out. There were more of them but some had mundane jobs or were off in other parts of the state handling stuff. When you got all the chapters together tho they numbered in about three hundred members.
If Ghost paid attention he would now see very clearly on her leather the angels VP patch she was second in command on the ladies side and one of the more important members.

Ghost shook his head looking at the ground for a few seconds as he forced his thoughts to the back burner. The camouflage of his bike did wonders to insure he was underestimated. Yet another reason that he wasn’t clubrider. He looked at the line of riders and from their battle vests he knew which were prospects and wannabe’s. He was firmly in their eyes one of the prospects for the evening. Having been inside their vice presidents house bought him temporary clout. He moved to the mentioned position. No in truth he began to but his skin began to itch. It was too close too confining. He began to sweat. His breath was coming in short bursts. Sitting and revving he eased towards the line as they moved to follow them. He was not a joiner and kept looking at the space they left for him as if it were the closing of cell doors.
There was the rear exit but he wasn’t that sort of man. He wasn’t a man who ran from his problems. He was a gladiator in a suit. Yet he was out of his chosen element. His element he chose so that he didn’t end the way his family usually did. His cousins uncles and extended relations who’d chased the streets only to be swallowed by them. Shaking his head he ignored the look of the clubs rear guard. He knew he was toeing a very big line for the club but he was not a joiner and it was a pathological flaw. He chose his own way, he rode his own road. Why was he even here? Lost in his head he didn’t hear the guard until he was all but yelling in his ear "I don’t care if you are Ghost or not but get your ass into position!"

whipping her head round to look she shook her head shoulda figured hed be trouble in this configuration" if he feels safe and not worried he will take fire let him ride where he pleases long as he keeps up"
Smirks and revved they were loosing valuable time the jerks were getting away. She wanted them punished sufficiently and to be back in bed before sunrise in three hours. Still had glass and crap to clean up,still had things to see if she could salvage. Wondering if they would return and finish what they started or wait for another time, that made her smile as she rolled out in her place flanking DK and Cole. Out of her cul de sac they rode in force letting him go where he pleased in the line. The sound of them all was like maniacal thunder, shaking windows and setting of sensitive car alarms with the shear numbers and noise.

Ghost laughed at the guy instead of taking offense which was definitely the wrong move tempers were high. As the rearguard began to crowd he heard D call out. It was as good as a gubernatorial pardon as far as the lunkhead was concerned he backed off before Ghost could respond in kind. Instead he just swung out taking up a more loose rear diamond. In effect he was an additional rear guard. She of course had information that others didn’t. She knew he was in fact the Ghost. The dawn rider the well it didn’t matter really his pride wasn’t why he was here. Though in truth it was he was here because of his pride but most of his decisions in his life were made because of his pride. Though now he was sure that minimally mischief and potentially criminal bodily harm.
"There they are…" Ghost called out as he swung left free of the pack down and around to hope onto the number two. Their leader was a fairly smart man thinking the Vagos would avoid South Central. They however had a similar thought it seemed and appeared to be taking the two to back track their way west and around the town.
He knew he couldn’t pour too much speed as he’d loose the pack and yet his greatest impulse was to catch them and maybe unseat their rear guard who paid the lone black bike no real attention. Which was saying a lot about the warparty if they were unconcerned. It meant they were headed somewhere where they had the advantage or hoped to so they could stomp out the competition.

She watched him shoot past and smirked giving the other guys the signal she knew a trap when she saw one. They would take a cut around and cut them off from their escape while the rest would funnel them into the new trap with Ghost leading the charge. They had also called their, friends the east side boyz as back up and she watched as Detricks orange and black rocket go shooting by. Nodding they had no clue the hornets nest that had gotten stirred shooting at her place.
D was part of the cut off crew so she took the shoulder and cut across a few streets then came round hearing the other bikes coming toward her now. Stopping mid street legs down and pulling up her piece. Waiting for them to realise just what they were riding into, wanting them to see the look on her face right then before she smiled and opened fire on their bikes.

Ghost was fine with violence he was okay with purposeful violence. He was even okay with a surprisingly huge amount of bloody violence. The guns being put to use was another matter entirely. He almost laid his bike down as the shells tore through the air around him. By and large the crew were fine shots. However as the guns began barking the Vagos began taking evasive actions he watched as their leader stood his bike up walking off it being snatched up by another rider who managed a turn standing nearly up on the front hoof.
Ghost ducked low and drew his baton clubbing a few riders not so much to hurt anyone but he knew very few people that would shoot a downed opponent. His conscious was locked away but it would haunt him later that was a sure thing. He was already thinking of his excuses if asked later. He wanted to think of something less than how much he wanted to get the hell out of dodge. Sadly in for a penny in for a pound. He instead he throttled up and skidded to a stop just outside of the main cluster of falling bodies. He knew that the police would be along soon as they were on the two so close to South central there was probably already three cars heading there direction. It was why he hated riding this side of town. He began scanning the horizon.

They had not given not one iota of care about her life they way they sprayed her place so why should she give them the kid gloves. The rake had been meant more to destroy the bikes tho then the men on them and if they got a bit holy in the process so be it. With most of them down D nodded the shooting stopped and just like the figurative wolves they were having ridden together for so long, the pack synced up and took off for safety. She would make sure most of her people had left first looking to him and giving him a hard but non judgmental look. Shrugging and kiss blown she took off to rejoin her crew.
The choice to fallow or cut out would be his, with his situation he probably should do the smart thing for the moment and get as far away from them as possible incase but again shed leave it to him. If the vagos turned punk and tried ratting on them to the cops over it things would get way worse but for now it would probably get a few of them pinched since they couldn't exactly all ride off with the damage done to the bikes and the few injured men. Shed sleep at the club house tonight to make sure, there was no blow back and then go clean her place tomorrow.
When she got there she took stock of who came and waited to see if he would show up.

Ghost understood the need for vengeance he’d heeded its siren song in more ways he could ever be proud of. All the same he knew that even as they maliciously attempted to either take her life and leave waste in their wake or at least scare the hell out of her. Taking their life would not truly ever balance the scales. As they fell like paper mache’ dominoes Ghost fought the urge to flinch away from the violence dancing in front of his eyes. He had signed up for this so he would see it to the end. He was sure that it would get worse before it got better and with two clubs and their allies all willing to spill blood like one drink too many it was sure to get bad.
Cartching D’s look he boot scooted out riding off towards nowhere in particular she considered the work of the night done. It was surely just the start. He needed to make some calls and some part of him wanted to make sure she was okay. She was in surrounded by men and women that had no problem with violence that should make her one of the safest people in the world. He wasn’t sure about that they targeted her not the clubhouse which was easy enough to find. They were riding for war and they’d expected a quick response. It didn’t add up to a pretty picture. Scooting around cross streets he got to their clubhouse before the crew arrived. He swung his leg up onto his bike and removed his phone from his boot.
He sent a text to two of his sources and one to his asset in the Sheriff’s department. He had them do a cursory search on recent crimes connected with The Vagos. He also had them run the sheets of high ranking Sons and Angels. It was a decent sized favor which would surely mean he would be in hock for awhile but he was sure something would show for his efforts. His next call would be to Caza Salvaxe while they specialized in preternaturals Mister Zlotvor would occasionally take on wild goose chases for him if they were significantly puzzle like.
As she pulled in with the crew he nodded as she scanned the area slipping his phone back into his boot he sauntered over to her clearly not one of the club.

He was just full of surpises and she smirked and parked her bike but what few people knew was that they had ways of protecting the club, like the heavy rolling iron gate that could lock, the compound down and the pressure senative plates that set off explosives that could be turned on when they needed. She had rigged those her self, and was proud of them, so safe was most assured. who ever wanted them would have to get to close to do damage, she slid off her ride and licked her lips looking at him " well then since you seem to be rolling with us for the moment come on in and have a drink or something trust me they wont keep busting your hump or face my wrath and even tho Im vp for the women the men respect the title and know I ride just as hard as they do"
Winking she sauntered in and every one settled in their favorite spots, on couches and at the bar and around the table. She had a standing bedroom in back when ever she pleased so she headed for it and checked for extra clothes and to change the sheets because she didnt trust the prospects to wash them good enough for her liking. She had a stash she washed her self and put those nice crisp red ones on the full in the room. Looking at him while she made her bed with the door to the room open." Look I never expected the diner to turn into this but you seem to be rolling up tough so kudos for that but I can tell its not all your deal the machine guns and cutting dudes down. A few months back we were opening a community park for the people of the city our hard work and cash had gone to make it happen, russians after the widow of the man we named it after shot the place up killed the mayor, we had to do or die so its just how we are"
She wasn't trying to get him to prospect or understand she just stated the facts and if he understood good if not she didnt blame him and had given him plenty outs. If he stuck around to much longer she was fittna brand him and ride him into the sunset as hers. Smirking hard at that thought and looking away.

He should have bid her adieu he should have got back on his bike and left instead; " I heard about that." Ghost said as he followed her. Yes he shouldn’t be as attracted to her as he was cock-blocked or not but he was. He knew he was playing with fire especially as he’d seen her in action or more specifically was complicit before and after the fact. There were about six different felonies he had witnessed and yet here he was nose open and trailing behind her.
He watched as she grabbed a few sheets and things. She walked to a bedroom he followed even moving aside as she closed the door and began making the bed. She would be staying here which made sense even as he thought better of it. The Vagos targeted her specifically. They recognized his bike but they knew where she lived. They’d set a trap that wasn’t sprung. He knew he was moving slowly towards some end but he couldn’t get there. Not fast enough his mind wouldn’t close that leap. “Thanks for the compliment I think. But I would make a bad rider. Its everything I can do to not begin planning an effective end to the Vagos. I’d make a terrible rider because underneath it all I would make such a very good gangster. And that’s a very bad use of my time. I should leave."
Even as he was saying how he should leave he moved to her. He wrapped his arms around her. “I’m leaving. You should come with me there’s a place in the hills that we can lay low together for a few days. We can have our own private world of two…” He stopped himself as he realized what he’d just offered. Was he frickin crazy. She was hot yes but was he really willing to let someone into his world really and truly? Placing a kiss against her he stepped back. Waiting.

D listened to him and then turned to look at him when he came to her, when she was in his arms and kissing him it was nice. Feeling him pull back and patting him on the chest " look your cute and kiss good but do you invite every pretty red head that gets shot at to hide at your place?"
Course she was teasing and she couldn't figure why she shouldn't he had a point maybe they would be better able to handle the vagos with out her in the way or a target. So she nodded and winked at him" Alright lets go then we gotta cut out before lock down and I still gotta talk DK into this whole plan"
Out she went and the looks she got were fairly comical she even heard Trei shout" well that was fast and we didn't even hear nothing lameee"
To which he got the finger in reply she went to dk and spoke in hushed tones and watched the big man hem and haw and put hands on hips and then shrug and motion to the door. " Alright folks the VP is leaving the building she thinks it would be less crap on our heads if the word got out she went to hide out shes taking a blow to her rep because most know she dont hide. Tho it might give us time to really set those jerks up and cut off any retal so wish her a fast engine and all, green lights and you..keep in touch or I will beat your tail hear me?"
He gave her a pointed look and she laughed and nodded "alright alright I will"
Walking out with him " my bike or bitchpad on yours?"

As he listened Ghost thought of an angle that could be beneficial especially to D and the club. The Vagos were well planned and coming with purpose. It was time to get out in front of things and really go on the offense without leaving the compound really. "Hey," Ghost called out the man that D had called DK. Moving to him he knew he had no standing especially here as the few members he’d beaten chalked it up to luck and not his own skill. It was one of the few downsides to being as elusive as he’d been. Ghost was a legend a myth and it was hard at times to convince those not in the know that he was real. “I don’t have a way or a say, but maybe you should spread the word that she is staying here in the compound. Get everyone looking left while you’re going right. And it would keep your VP in good.”
As they exited Ghost considered the implications. He wouldn’t allow himself to think on it. He would do what he did what came naturally. He would speed on allowing his instincts to take over.
"No you can’t take your ride. By the way, I only know one wild redhead. And no one has been to my place. I’d like to keep its location our little secret. I’ll bitch out…" He said handing his keys to her. Another first and somehow it didn’t get any easier in his thoughts. What the hell was he doing he chided himself.

Dk nodded and smirked waving them both off and went to grab a beer watching her walk away with a man that was a myth till tonight despite his beating of several of his club members in races. Leave it on D-rock to find and bring him round that girl was incredibly unpredictable and a little off but she was a corner stone of the mc. Sighing softy he took his beer and sat with Trei kicking up his feet for the moment.
D looked at him and head tilted then smiled taking his keys and trading him a kiss" I hope you got a strong bladder boo I tend to scare folk with my riding"
Slinging those long legs over kick stand brought up and waiting on him. When he pressed behind it took effort not to grind back and tease him, there would be plenty of time for that. Starting her up and revving when he gripped her she pushed off and out the lot they went, he would know to tell her where to go by signals and the few words shed be able to hear over the wind and engine. Fallowing his direction town was soon left behind and even tho he was leading her she couldn't have found her way back here less a gun was to her head so he had nothing to worry over. So many twists and turns. She was good on her word when she had a straight shot the girl put his bike through its paces getting it going almost to fast.
It fired her blood and made her more then a bit hot, which he'd have taken out on him almost assuredly when they were finally parked for the evening. Finally when he pointed out the last turn off and they cut up the dusty miss abused track to the little cabin and she parked on its side out of site from the one way she saw in.
