No New Posts Downtown Las Vegas

Downtown Las Vegas (commonly abbreviated as DTLV- Damn Those Lazy Vampires) is the central business district and historic center of Las Vegas, Nevada.

It is the original townsite and was the gambling district of Las Vegas prior to the Strip, and the area still incorporates downtown gaming. As the urban core, it features a variety of hotel and business highrises, cultural centers, historical buildings and government institutions.

Downtown is not only the urban center but the actual center of Las Vegas and as such is often the bets place to sight vampires and or many other preternatural citizens and celebrities.

Located northwest of the Las Vegas Strip it is known as Historic West Las Vegas and locally as "The Westside." In response to the segregation, of the 20's blacks created their own desegregated Las Vegas Black Strip in the area.

While beset by catastrophes both physical and political "The black strip" was publicly and officially closed; though the iconic hotels and casinos became landmarks and have earned a protected status. Which has furthered the continuation of the underground and backroom games of 'The Black Strip' which have continued through word of mouth and as a counterpoint to Las Vegas as a whole.

The name means truth the mission is the absence of it. It is a newer on the scene LA hotspot that has already attracted some of the hottest more elite of Hollywoods glitz and glam. The whole experience inside is supposed to be a show including burlesque cage dancers and pounding hip hop from the DJ booth, to dancing guests themselves - many of whom prefer to strip down to their undergarments. This is the place to escape reality and live the fantasy to be taken by the spectacle. Its fans are growing and its saturation and effect on the nightclub scene in LA is undisputed.

No New Posts Brownstone Pizzeria

Great pizza, great simple pasta, and great staff! The casual, neighborhood vibe is also pretty awesome. My mom, brother and I love to frequent this place a little after peak dinner hours so it's usually pretty empty.

Very reasonably priced and small beer selection as well! We always get a large pizza, penne with basil pesto and the Antipasto salad. The Antipasto salad is amazingly fresh which makes is extra tasty - I highly recommend it!! And I really enjoy the pesto sauce there - it is different than the usual pesto as it's not blended as finely which gives it a lighter feel and is not cream based. So delicious!!

Parking: is very easy! You can usually score a spot directly in front with street parking being ample but if not the two side streets on either side are available. We often park there and just walk over which is nice as well since the neighborhood is lively and fun.

Månegudinnen ~ By the looks of her, Anja Freyr does not fit the image of your typical hardcore, chopper-riding tattooer. After a childhood spent drawing and reading by candle light in the back woods of Norway and Maine, Ms. Freyr decided she wanted to look like a '50s movie star and become an artist. She bought some cheap tattoo equipment, and after a few practice tattoos on herself and some brave buddies, she made the move to Hollywood. Far too years of training later, after building a name for herself, she opened a brick & mortar, full-service tattoo shop in West Hollywood.
