Sasha watched the happenings with only slight interest, she wanted to know what happened in this room but she still felt the urge to leave. She could see and feel Remy really gather himself incase the tension surrounding them really did turn into violence. She wasn't to keen on fighting against the two men but her lioness longed for the taste of blood. She noticed in particular how the bearded one looked about and seemed to let his eyes settle on her a second longer then she felt was necessary but it was of no matter. Even if he was good looking nothing would ever come of it as it seemed they were on differing sides even if she still had yet to truly pick one.
She watched the muscle leave the room but turned her attention almost immediately to the vampire that walked through the door joining an already crowded room. He looked to be quite drunk but on what she wasn't sure. He plopped down in the open seat that she hadn't noticed was there until just that moment. Sasha listened to the guy talk wondering what exactly he was doing here although that could be asked of pretty much everybody. Looking straight at Nicholas for a moment she continued looking at each of the men in turn her thoughts fully in tune with the wild looking vamp.

Nicholas was baffled, it was the first time that he could think of that he just didn’t have anything to say, Cappy walked into the room and plopped down on the chair the twins were standing there looking at the cabal of possibly people. Nicholas was beset on all sides by people that he was not sure if he could trust, however those that were there all appeared to be able to be in support of him to some aspect. The rush was what Nicholas lived for, many people like the comfort in knowing that everyone was there to protect and serve, Nicholas saw that more than enough betrayal in the short number of years that he has lived. Every vampire in his line lived in the shadow of betrayal his sire was the master of betrayal so he kept everyone at a safe distance.
As everyone but the major players cleared the room he decided that now would be the best time to start.
“Cappie I am glad that you could make it.”
Nicholas wanted to add that he could possibly be sober, but to show any emotion relating to Cappie showing up in this state could be considered weakness. So it would be best to ignore it at least for now. Drawing his attention back to Remy, Sasha and the twins he offered the remaining chairs and a couch allowing them to fall where they may. He had hoped that he could allow this night to proceed without blood shed as it would provide the bite to the bark that Nicholas has waved at the assembled group.
“So I guess the next move is yours.”
Nic said as he focused his attention on the clean shaven Arcaadian. The bearded one continued to watch him was unnerving, however Nic could ignore the weight of his gaze. If he could get the Fae to perhaps join his side or not be in the fight it would be worth all of their weights in gold.
“Since you are here in the City I assume that you were summoned by the crown, However I would like to offer a counter offer, depending on if you would be willing to entertain such things.”
Nic wondered which was of the light court and which the dark as both were just as prone to lies, betrayal and murder, it just requires a more gentle hand to guide to there.

T'lynx'tri leaned forward a hair. What was the vampire getting at, was he trying to buy his freedom. T'lynx'tri fought the urge to look at his brother. He understood that this was a test in some way, well he had not expected this. he had to decide what it was worth.
"What are you offering?"
He wanted to know exactly what this vampires game was. if he thought he could be bought off he would find that T'lynx'tri takes things like that very personally and found things like that distasteful. T'lynx'tri squinted his eyes, as he thought of the best way to answer the question. T'lynx'tri wondered if the vampire knew why the Arcadians wanted the city so badly that they would risk war. If he knew that the city of dreams was just that a city made of dreamstuff.
"I would be willing to stay my hand, but if I feel any deception from you I will strike you down immediately."
It was a giving that T'lynx'tri was stronger than everyone in the room with the exception of his brother, it was not a boast he was over a millennia in age, if his family was higher in noble lineage he would be king by now. even in the courts they were hard pressed to find someone strong as him or his brother. but the truth of the matter was T'lynx'tri was truely tired of the courts and the deep dreaming. and this was a pretty good place to retire to, if only he could get this vampire to not want to make him the point man of his rag tag bunch. maybe he could do something to keep his sword arm strong but not be the main person to shield the entire city. He just had and turn the tables on the vampire.

Tempus watched the vampire throw on his best deal making visage and send his men out of the room. That left no one to slow either he or his brother down should they decide to end his life. Tempus didn’t really care what happened here. He was really just here as a way to touch base with his brother. He wouldn’t mind stretching his legs and raising a bit of hell to keep the scales balanced especially with the rise of the third court by the princess NicEssus. Her and her stolen Ravens were creating quite a name for themselves. Tempus didn’t mind initially but the option they presented was troubling to the balance of things. The hidden had always been a dual people now they were a triptych. It made the Orders jobs considerably harder. He had been waiting on a missive suggesting to what he should ply himself. It hadn’t arrived and he was bored beyond his mind.
He raised a brow at the fae besotted vampire that staggered in. He could smell the glamour wafting off his breath from where he stood. He didn’t know any fae that would willingly play blood-whore. He would turn that over in his head in silence. He was not officially part of King Taranis’s court at least not in practice, so he wasn’t too worked up over the idea some Arcadian losing a bit of blood. He did know that if Nicholas proved boring that he would more than likely play a little roughly with the vampire to see how he had been able to accomplish the scent wafting off his tongue.
“Left, I believe the young one is thinking your sword arm would work better when opposing the Per than burying his whole Kiss. I would say he would be right if this motley crew is the best he has. Perhaps you can train them to be more than what their parts equal.”
Yes Tempus was speaking out of turn but he hoped his brother would see the honesty therein and not the gamesmanship. That would come in due time but he liked the idea of T’lynxtri investing some of his glamour into a place here in the world. He also knew that his brother could use the experience to perhaps see the Mortals and lesser immortals a more than shadows that obstructed the light of battle.
“But I suppose I should allow him or perhaps one of his honor guards relay that... I would wager it could be a worthwhile distraction.”
Tempus shouldn’t have bated them but he was feeling playful especially as the vampire was all but shaking in his boots. The snake was eyeing the room fairly skillfully. He would bear some watching with the right tools Tempus knew what a soldier could accomplish if determined and prepared for death. The snake seemed prepared if not looking for death. The lioness was undecided and yet there was the most superficial leanings apparent in her carriage. She was out of her depth but she was willing to be out of her depth here with Nicholas. The other vampire was a mystery and one that Tempus was attempting to not become curious about. It was obvious that he was somewhat reckless after all whom but a fool would tangle with Arcadians willingly.

Remy didn’t like the security force being asked to leave but tactically he could understand the play. Nicholas was betting the farm that the men in the room had not come to slaughter, maim, and otherwise introduce him to the next world. If they weren’t here to actually kill him he was sure that might change if he overplayed his hand. He knew he was good but even with the drunk rent-a-Jack Sparrow, Sasha and maybe half his Nest he knew that the best he could hope for would be a draw at best. As it was he wasn’t sure they would all walk out of the room should things get uglier than two Arcadians with enough firepower to appear out of thin air looking as if they’d just walked across a room.
Remy didn’t like any vampire in all actuality but he liked the look of the drunken vampire even less. He’d had to deal with enough drunks in his time and he liked something with a vampires abilities being in a bag. It also drug up some dark ideas as to how a vampire could get drunk to begin with. He could imagine some alley strewn with bums and hobos suffering from massive bloodloss and surprise anemia. He had a darker image of Nicholas if he could keep such people around him.
“I am not his honor guard.” Remy said before he stopped himself cutting his eyes to Nicholas. He didn’t want to screw the pooch but these two were sitting here threatening the man to his face. If they were going to do anything they could have already this was a meet and greet and he really wasn’t needed for this. Sadly as he wasn’t asked to leave it meant that Nicholas wanted him and Sasha to see what he was being a world class prick about. The Fae. Maybe specifically these fae. If that was the case he saw enough he knew they were out gunned it would take more than one megalomaniac to keep them from running things and or running every preternatural out of the city. Or worse trying to boot down everyone they allowed to stay.
He really had nowhere else to go. He was banned from his home so he would have to make this place his home for him, his Nest, and have something to build on. It sucked but he was in. He really didn’t have a choice. “He doesn’t need one. This is America ‘we’ do things a little different.” He emphasized the we a bit much even to his ear but it was the best he could do. He wasn’t equipped for this sort of arena. He was quicker study than some he hoped it would be enough.
